There are plenty of walking routes in the forest, just go straight ahead. For lovers of more advanced hiking, specially marked trails have been prepared: green, red and black.

Siemianówka lake is 30 minutes from Białowieża . It is a paradise for anglers and one of the best places to watch birds in Poland. Beautiful beaches, sports fields and playgrounds are also a paradise for families and children.
For lovers of cross-country skiing, the Primeval Forest and its vicinity offers many wonderful routes where the conditions for skiing are ideal. The longest is 21 km. There are several ski and equipment rentals in Białowieża.
The Białowieża Forest attracts mushroom picking enthusiasts. There are boletes, red pine mushrooms, kites, green forage, and boletus can also be found. For those who are particularly interested, we will suggest where to look for them.

Narewka is the largest river in the Forest, it flows from Belarus taking its source in the swamps called Dziki Nikor. You can choose routes of various lengths, e.g. a short trip within the Białowieża Clearing or a full-day trip between Narewka and Narew
For lovers of horse tourism, Białowieża offers traditional horse-drawn carriages, sleighs and carts rides in the Białowieża Forest. In addition, it is possible to take horse riding lessons as well as rent a horse for horse riding in the Białowieża Forest.
