The only place you will discover
peace combined with ancient wildness ...

"Tatanka" House in the Forest is a unique place ... the forest-scented air, birds singing in the morning, the view of the endless meadows and the forest at your fingertips ...

The house fits perfectly into the surrounding landscape and rural buildings. Located in Białowieża in Poland, on the edge of the forest, just a few steps from the strict reserve.

Białowieża Forest is one of the last and largest remaining parts of the immense primeval forest that once stretched across the European Plain. The forest is home to 800 European bisons. The forest has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage and an EU Natura 2000 Special Area of Conservation.

Therefore we built our house in a way that invites surrounding nature to look into its windows from all sides yet at the same time ensure intimacy. Thanks to this, you can enjoy a beautiful, uninterrupted view of the forest, and with a bit of luck, admire the bisons grazing on over 1.5 hectares of meadow.

But the bisons are not the only inhabitants of the Bialowieza Forest that you can meet here. Sometimes the lesser spotted eagle, foxes, roe deer or even moose visit our property ...
